Thank you to the Foley FFA students who brought some of their farm animals in to share with the FES children! What a great experience to pet a horse, a baby calf, a lamb, a piglet and even a turkey. The Foley High School FFA students also brought little "tractors" and set up an obstacle course for the younger children to enjoy! May, 2016
Foley 1st graders learn about Ojibwe dance and regalia through fellow Foley students Elon and Elki. Throughout the 2015-16 school year, they have been learning about the past and present life of the Ojibwe. They have experienced using clay to make usable bowls, strung beads for jewelry and will be taking a field trip to the Mille Lacs Indian Museum. In this video, the students are led in dance by Foley High School students Elon & Elki. April 2016
In learning about the Past, Present, and Future, Foley Kindergartners were able to ask two of our FES Foster Grandparents questions about how life was when they were growing up in the 1930's and 1940's! What a great wealth of knowledge our children gained from these wonderful ladies! May, 2016
